In early 2020, Tianqi Lithium adjusted the debugging arrangement and target of Kuinana lithium hydroxide project (︱) and slowed down the work related to it due to the lack of building and management experience on overseas engineering and a professional talent team, insufficient argumentation on debugging solution, the needs to optimize equipment and technology and other factors.

The headquarters of Tianqi Lithium now keeps normal negotiation with the work team in Australia in accordance with the previous debugging results, focusing on achieving the initial target of comprehensive debugging and the implementation of relative work in a normal and orderly manner as soon as possible. Having basically finished the main building, Kwinana lithium hydroxide project (‖) temporarily delays building now.
