BEIJING (Asian Metal) 2 Dec 20 - China Customs' latest statistics show that China imported a total of 259,480.602t of ferronickel in October 2020, down by 23.9% from September and up by 53.7% on a year to year basis.

In October 2020, the top three origin countries for China's ferronickel imports were Indonesia, New Caledonia and Brazil. In particular, imports from Indonesia were 189,083.344t, down by 26.5% MOM; imports from New Caledonia were 14,108.010t, down by 12.8% MOM; and imports from Brazil were 10,588.030t, up by 18.4% MOM.
