Three authorities release tax rules for COVID-19 force majeure export returned goods

Recently, Ministry of Finance, General Administration of Customs and State Taxation Administration jointly released the announcement about tax rules for COVID-19 force majeure export returned goods. According to the announcement, for goods submitting export declaration from 1 January to 31 December, 2020 and being imported again within one year after the export date due to COVID-19 force majeure, import tariff, import value-added tax and import consumption tax will be exempted and export tariff will be returned to those imposed the tariff when exporting.
