According to the report released by local IABr, Brazil produced 2.60 million tons of crude steel in September 2020, up by 7.5% YOY, and Brazil's output of crude steel from January to September fell by 9.7% YOY to 22.30 million tons.

Brazil's sales volume of steel products reached 1.80 million tons in September, up by 11.8% YOY, and the apparent consumption of steel products increased by 8.2% YOY to 1.90 million tons in September, according to the report.

Steel export volume of Brazil totaled 0.76 million tons, down by 20.9% YOY in September, and the import volume fell by 22.9% to 0.14 million tons in September.
