On October 15, the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) stated that the Ministry will lead the national manufacturing industry upgrading fund to more focus upon power-battery projects and enterprises which conform to China's national development strategy, will help battery enterprises make better use of existing policies so as to enjoy more benefits, and therefore expedite innovation and development of China's power battery industrial chain.
