NSSC announced on October 7 that it will increase the domestic contract price of SUS304 and other nickel-based stainless steel cold-rolled sheets and plate in October by 5,000 yen (USD47.54) per ton, (all reflected in the alloy surcharge, but the base price remains unchanged), while the contract prices of cold-rolled sheets of chromium-based stainless steel such as SUS430 remain unchanged, including base price and alloy surcharge. This is the price increase of nickel-based products for three consecutive months, and the price of chromium-based products has remained unchanged for four consecutive months.
