According to the latest data released by Pilbara Port Authority, Australia's shipments of iron ore to China from the world's top export hub of Port Hedland were 39.74 million tons in September 2020, down by 1.04% MOM while up by 10.25% YOY.

Total iron ore shipments out of the Port stood at 45.57 million tons in September, up by 8.57% from the same period of last year.

Port Hedland is used by three of Australia's top four iron ore miners: BHP Group, Fortescue Metals Group and Gina Rinehart's Roy Hill.
