On September 24, the ground-breaking ceremony for the third batch of major projects in Anyang 2020, which was also the groung-breaking ceremony of Xuyang New Type Optoelectronic Display Materials Industry Park, was held in Anyang of Henan.

It was said that this industry park was jointly invested and built by Anyang Urban-rural integration Demonstration Region Construction Investment Co., Ltd., Hebei Guangyang Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. under Tunghsu Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. and Chengdu Zhongpu Technology Co., Ltd. with the total investment of RMB2 billion (USD293 million). The project covers an area of 211mu and the construction will be divided into two phases. With the investment of RMB1 billion (USD147 million), Phase I will construct one 10-generation high-end display cover glass production line. The project will use world-leading technologies and could annually produce 10 million square meters of high-end display protection cover glass and achieve the annual operation income of RMB1.17 billion (USD172 million) after reaching the designed capacity.
