On September 23rd, China's Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, and the National Development and Reform Commission jointly issued the Guiding Suggestions on Expanding Strategic Emerging Sectors and Cultivating New Growth Points and Growth Poles (hereinafter referred to as the Suggestions). According to the Suggestions, more investment in 5G construction will be made, the commercial development of 5G will be accelerated and new urban infrastructure construction based on informatization, digitalization and intelligence will be boosted. Demonstrating cities for fully electrified vehicles used in public fields will be built and specific application and industrial development of smart vehicles will be boosted.

In addition, the above four Chinese ministries also mentioned in the Suggestions several policies on improving the guarantee of funds, prioritizing investment environment and others. More supporting policies on the development of the strategic emerging sectors, such as 5G and new energy, have been made.
