According to the data from China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), in early September 2020, the auto output and sales of the 11 key enterprises recorded 729,000 units and 539,000 units respectively. The output increased by 17% YOY, while the sales decreased by 8.5% YOY.

Among them, 626,000 and 485,000 units of passenger vehicles were produced and sold, with the output up by 13.3% YOY and sales down by 10.6% YOY; the production and sales of commercial vehicles posted 103,000 and 54,000 respectively, up by 45.6% YOY and 16.8% YOY.
