Grandtopeak Group: Expect to put Sanshi Nonferrous Ta-Nb rare earth metal project into production in Jun 2021

Grandtopeak Group disclosed recently that its wholly-owned subsidiary Sanshi Nonferrous is constructing the tantalum-niobium rare earth metal project, which goes smoothly, and expects to put the project into production in June 2021.

On 12 December, 2019, the Board of Directors approved the "proposal for wholly-owned subsidiary Jiangxi Henghe Investment Development Co., Ltd. to acquire 95% equities of Jiangxi Sanshi Nonferrous Metal Co., Ltd. and increase investment". The company acquired 95% equities of Sanshi Nonferrous and increased investment to construct the 700-ton-per-annum tantalum-niobium rare earth metal project of Sanshi Nonferrous. According to construction planning of the project, the designed production capacity is equivalent to an annual production capacity of 1,040 tons of tantalum oxide, niobium oxide and potassium fluotantalate, including 210 tons of tantalum oxide products, 610 tons of niobium oxide products and 220 tons of reserved potassium fluotantalate products.
