On 7 November, Gao Feng, spokesman of the Ministry of Commerce, claimed at the routine press conference that if China and U.S. have reached the phase I agreement, the two countries shall synchronously cancel additional tariffs in equal proportion according to the agreement, which is the essential factor for reaching agreements.
