- On the afternoon of June 9, Mr. Wei Chen, General Manager of Mingde International Holding Group Co., Ltd. and Mr. Qi Yu, Vice General Manager of the Group visited Asian Metal. They had a pleasant meeting with Mr. Friday Gao, Chief Consultant & Product Director of Asian Metal.
- Mr. Gao introduced Chinese demand for imported bauxite and current supplies as well as prices from Guinea and Indonesia. In May, Chinese consumption volume of imported bauxite reduced for the sluggish alumina market, but the overall demand remains strong compared with last year.
- Mr. Chen noted that, as a subsidiary corporation of Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (Group) Co., Ltd., they are scheduled to get involved in bauxite L/C opening.
- As a member of Asian Metal, Mr. Chen shows interest in the 11th World Aluminum Raw Materials Summit to be organized by Asian Metal in H2, 2020.
