Asian Metal visits Shanxi Fuhengdi Metal Material, Xia County Jierun and Shanxi Jiuling Jiamei
- On 6 December of 2019, Consultant & Senior Product Manager of Asian Metal, Ms. Daphne Zhang visited Shanxi Fuhengdi Metal Material Co., Ltd., Xia County Jierun Magnesium Co., Ltd. and Shanxi Jiuling Jiamei Metal Co., Ltd., and was warmly greeted by above companies.
- On the morning of 6 December, Ms. Daphne Zhang visited Shanxi Fuhengdi Metal Material Co., Ltd., and talked about the price trend for magnesium ingot, the production cost of magnesium powder and also for the demand and supply of magnesium powder with Mr. Jin Chai, Sales Manager from Fuhengdi. With an annual production capacity of 13,000t, Fuhengdi could produce about 1,000t of magnesium powder per month. With the approaching of Spring Festival holiday, downstream clients from steel mills and chemical plants begin to build stocks and market transactions are smooth. As a years-long partner of Asian Metal, Fuhengdi has been referring to market information and prices provided by Asian Metal for long. Mr. Jin Chai thought highly of objective, fair and timely market information provided by Asian Metal and also gave positive comments on previous magnesium summits held by Asian Metal, planning to participate in the 9th Magnesium Summit to be held by Asian Metal in Hangzhou on April 16-17, 2020.

- Later, Ms. Daphne Zhang visited Xia County Jierun Magnesium Co., Ltd., and discussed with Mr. Xiaowei Lin, General Manager and Sales Manager, Jin Ning about environmental protection policy and market demand and supply status for magnesium powder. With a regular monthly production volume of 500t, Jierun mainly sells magnesium powder to steel mills and traders in Chinese domestic market. They showed great interests in attending the 9th Magnesium Summit to be held by Asian Metal in Hangzhou on April 16-17, 2020.

- In addition, Ms. Daphne Zhang visited Shanxi Jiuling Jiamei Metal Co., Ltd., and discussed with Mr. Fengwei Chen, General Manager about the market demand and supply status for magnesium ingot, market price trend in 2020, production cost, export demand and the demand of magnesium ingot 99.95%min from titanium sponge plants. With a regular monthly trading volume of around 2,000t, Jiuling mainly concerns with magnesium ingot trading business and sells the metal to downstream titanium sponge plants. Entering 2019, with rising output from downstream titanium sponge plants, the consumption volume for magnesium ingot 99.95%min increases as well and the price gap with the regular material move up to RMB1,000/t. Besides, Mr. Chen expects to start the export business from 2020 and also could accept payment term from credible clients. Meanwhile, Jiuling also has a cooperative magnesium powder plant in Qingxu of Shanxi, which could produce about 1,200t of magnesium powder per month.
