Asian Metal visits Tin Products Manufacturing of YTCL, Yunnan Kunjiaotou and Yunnan Culture Industry International
- On November 29th, Zhao Hao, the president assistant of Asian Metal, and Yao Guangzhi, the analyst of tin market from Asian Metal, visited Tin Products Manufacturing Co., Ltd. of YTCL, Yunnan Kunjiaotou Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. as well as Yunnan Culture Industry International Investment and Development Co., Ltd. and received warm reception from above companies, deeply exchanging views on current tin market with related leaders and staff from companies mentioned above.
- On the morning of November 29th, Zhao Hao and Yao Guangzhi visited Tin Products Manufacturing Co., Ltd. of YTCL and were warmly welcomed by Li Yun, the director of production and operation department of the company. Mr. Li showed them around the plant located in Kunming, introduced the company’s advantages related to production technology and products in details and fully analyzed the current tin consumption market. According to Mr. Li, thanks to the technology improvement, the tin consumption of single equipment has declined, but there has been no new demand for tin in recent years; the consumption of tin will probably keep stable in the coming years with no possibilities to increase substantially.

- On the afternoon of November 29th, Zhao Hao and Yao Guangzhi paid a visit to Yunnan Kunjiaotou Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. and conducted deep communication on recent tin market in China with Du Hongbin, the general manager from tin business department of the company, and Yang Shuo, another manager from the department. The company is engaged in the business related to supply chain management and the trading of varieties of bulk mineral products with copper, zinc, tin, chemical products as its main products. Mr. Du disclosed that the company’s turnover is expected to be RMB8 billion throughout 2017.

- Then, Zhao Hao and Yao Guangzhi reached Yunnan Culture Industry International Investment and Development Co., Ltd. and conducted deep communication with He Ziming, the manager of tin department of the company, Li Bo, the manager of lead-zinc department of the company, Zhang Shihua, the vice-president assistant as well as Tai Jinqiu, a staff from the company, on the trading and market of tin ores. According to Mr. He, although their trading volume for Burmese tin ores hasn’t declined obviously so far in 2017, the import volume for the material is expected to go down to some extent in 2018 with pessimistic outlook for the import market of Burmese tin ores affected by limited mining resources and the decrease of tin ore grades. Yao Guangzhi exchanged ideas with Zhang Shihua and Tai Jinqiu on the price trend of tin ores in 2018 and purchasing of the material from smelters in the future. In addition, He Ziming expressed his strong interest in the tin forum held by Asian Metal next year.
